H.R.P. - HEAT RACES:
Heat races are lined up by how the driver draws at check-in.
If a driver is late and misses the draw/check-in time, he/she will start scratch in the next available spot.
H.R.P. - HEAT RACE QUALIFIERS – (DNF’s and DNS’s do not qualify)
1 Heat race – The top 5 will go to the “A” feature.
2 Heat races – The top 10 will go to the “A” feature.
– (Top 5 from each heat)
3 Heat races – The top 12 will go to the “A” feature.
– (Top 4 from each heat)
4 Heat races – The top 12 will go to the “A” feature.
– (Top 3 from each heat)
5 Heat races – The top 10 will go to the “A” feature.
– (Top 2 from each heat)
6 Heat races – The top 12 will go to the “A” feature.
– (Top 2 from each heat)
H.R.P. - QUALIFIER – OR – “B” FEATURES:
If more than 22 cars are entered, there will be a Qualifying or “B” features.
Qualifying races will line-up, straight up from the heat races with the highest finishing “non-qualifier”
to the front, then the DNF’s, and then the DNS’s to the rear.
H.R.P. - “A” FEATURE RACES:
“A” features are lined-up with the qualifiers from the heat races with the lowest point average to
the front, highest behind, and then the qualifying driver with no point average at the back.
Remainder of the “A” feature will be lined-up, straight up, from the heats or from the Qualifying (B feature)
races.
H.R.P. - POINT
AVERAGE:
A driver’s
point average is figured by total number of points, divided by how many times that driver has raced at HRP. If a driver misses two consecutive weeks of racing, their point average will go to zero (0).
Example:
Johnny has
950 total points and has raced at HRP 5 times.
Johnny’s
point average would be 190.00
Joe has 1520
total points and has raced at HRP 8 times.
Joe’s
point average would be 190.00
If there are two
driver’s, in the same division that have the same point average, their draw number for the heat race will determine
which driver will line-up first.
Example:
Johnny drew 15
when he checked in and his point average is 190.00
Joe drew 42 when
he checked in and his point average is also 190.00
Johnny would line-up
before Joe because Johnny drew a lower number than Joe did.
If there are two
or more drivers in the same division that have a zero (0) point average, their draw number for the heat race will determine
which driver will line-up first.
Example:
Johnny has 950
total points but missed two consecutive weeks of racing.
Johnny’s
point average goes to zero (0). Johnny drew 15 when he checked in.
Joe has not raced
at HRP yet, therefore Joe does not have a point average.
Joe drew 8 when
he checked in.
Joe would line-up
before/ahead of Johnny because he drew a lower number than Johnny did.
