1. PIT GATE:
Pit passes are $25.00.
The draw/check-in will close at 7:15 pm. SHARP!! If you show
up after 7:15 pm, you will start scratch in the next available spot in the heat races. HRP's pit shack clock is final. We
need you here early enough to get the races started and finished, on time. Car or driver must be present to draw/check-in.
All people entering the pit area MUST purchase a pit pass to enter. ANY person caught in the pit area without a pit pass will
be escorted out of the racetrack, AND, the driver they are associated with will be fined $50.00, with $25.00 going to the
informant (who will be kept confidential).
ALL minors (under the age of 18) entering the pits MUST have a minor release
form signed by BOTH parents or legal guardians, and purchase a pit pass. Due to insurance regulations, there will be NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Hutchinson Raceway Park reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone.
2. TECH INSPECTION: All cars must go through
a tech inspection. Registration is the first part of the tech inspection. All drivers must register by name, owner's
name, and car number. If you do not, you will not be allowed to race. Duplicate car numbers will not be allowed in any class
and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Changes or modifications of numbers will need to be made if another driver
with your number, in your class, registered first. Early registration will ensure your car number. Registration fee is $25.00.
Any car may be inspected at any time. Official interpretation of rules are final. Any car entered in 1 event, may
not be entered in another class or event. If any driver would like to enter another car, in another event, that driver must
pay a registration fee for that car, for that class, along with any other extra fee. If you car is subject to a weight rule,
please weigh your car on Hutchinson Raceway Park's scales BEFORE racing. Hutchinson Raceway Park's scales and officials decisions
are FINAL. NO SECOND CHANCES! Rembmer, all officials decisions are FINAL on all decisions.
3. CAR NUMBERS: No
duplicate numbers in same class. NUMBERS MUST BE CLEAR AND VISIBLE FROM THE SCORING TOWER. IF YOU WANT TO BE SCORED, MAKE
SURE YOUR NUMBERS ARE LARGE AND CLEAR.
4. PACKING THE TRACK: All cars will be expected to pack the track. If you
don't pack, you WILL run scratch in your heat race and/or your feature.
5. HOT LAPS: Hot laps will follow packing
the track. If you want hot laps, listen for the call, for your class. Be ready to go when it's your turn.
6. DRIVERS
MEETING: When a driver's meeting is called, it is up to you to attend. Important information may be given. If you have
questions, now is the time to ask. If, by chance, no driver's meeting is held, it is the responsibility of the new drivers
to talk to the officials about anything they don't understand.
7. LINE-UPS: Line-ups will be posted on the pit
board, no later than 7:45 pm. The race order will be posted also. If you scratch, please notify an official as soon as possible.
If someone scratched in front of you, move up, do not criss-cross. Know when you race. It is your responsibilty to know when
your race is up. Cars pushed from the staging area must start scratch. The first heat race of the evening MUST be lined up
in the staging area, before the National Anthem. Anyone NOT lined up will start scratch in their heat race. PLEASE KEEP YOUR
MOTORS SHUT OFF DURING THE NATIONAL ANTHEM!
8. POINTS: Points go with the driver, not the car. No driver changes
during a racing event. Make sure that the driver that went threw the draw/check-in line, is the driver racing the correct,
registered car. If you have driver changes or number changes, a new registration must be filled out along with paying the
$25.00 registration fee. For driver changes, a number modification will need to be done. EX: John Doe races car 01 the first
night of racing; Jane Doe races the same car the next week, Jane must register the same car, pay the $25.00 registration fee,
and use a diiferent number or add something to the end of the 01, such as 01x.
9. CONDUCT: NO FIGHTING ALLOWED!!
Anyone involved in physical or verbal contact (fighting) will be banned from Hutchinson Raceway Park. Hutchinson Raceway
Park can fine any team for verbal attacks, of any officials. Any driver or race team member entering another racer's pit area
for verbal or physical altercation, will be subject to suspension. Verbal altercation in another racer's pit area will result
in a one (1) week suspension. Physical altercation in another racer's pit area will result in a one (1) year suspension, from
the date of the altercation. Whatever happens on the racetrack, should stay on the racetrack. Any race having intentional
contact on the track, will be black flagged for that event and subject to a suspension. Drivers keep yourselves and your pit
crew in line.
10. FOUR-WHEELERS: One per car, with car number displayed. The speedway is not a playground for
4-wheelers. Any abuse of the privilege of using a 4-wheeler in the pits, will have the right taken away. All ATV's must be
registered at the office with a copy of the insurance on record. No one under the age of 16 will be allowed to drive a 4-wheeler/ATV.
11. STARTS: The pole driver has the responsibility to get the cars lined up, bringing them around at a reasonable
slow pace. The race does not start until the green flag is displayed by the flagman. The flagman, not the green light, starts
the race. If you jump start or are out of line on the start, you will be put to the back of the field. Upon completion of
the race, if it goes green to checkered, you will be penalized at the end of the race. If there is a caution, you will be
penalized at that time, whichever comes first. The flagman may move one car or both front row cars to second row at his discretion.
12. ORIGINAL RE-STARTS: Original restarts will occur if a mishap happens before the exit of turn two, and ALL
CARS WILL GET THEIR POSITION BACK. If a car has to go to the pits for repair, they will return to the rear of the field. It
is up to the flagman where the mishap is ruled to have taken place. Any mishaps bringing out the caution after turn two will
result in original restart with those involved in the mishap going to the rear. At the flagman's discretion, a single file
restart may be used, at any time. In some instances, the flagman may call for a complete original restart for any wreck, on
lap one.
13. SINGLE FILE RE-STARTS: The cone will be placed on the back stretch of the track. Stay above the cone,
in single file, nose to tail, until you have passed the cone. If you hit the cone, or go under the cone, you will be put to
the back of the field.
14. HEAT RACES: If you are not ready for your heat race, you will scratch. NO SWITCHING
OF HEATS WITH SOMEONE ELSE, OR RUNNING IN A LATER HEAT RACE WILL BE ALLOWED. You should be ready to race when you come through
the pit gate. Officials may change the number of laps. If you are a late arrival, you will be placed in scratch position,
in the next available spot.
15. CASH/DASH: These will be run at the track's discretion.
16. FEATURE RACES:
The number of laps in the feature is determined by race promoter before the start of the race. If there are too many cautions,
the time limit rule will apply.
17. PAY WINDOW:
PAY WINDOW CLOSES 1 HOUR AFTER THE LAST RACE! If you do not
pick up your money before the pay window closes, you can pick it up after the end of the next racing event. It will be in
the office for you. Do not stand at the pay window for back pay. Drivers will be allowed to remain longer (and camp overnight
if desired) in the general parking area of Hutchinson Raceway Park.
