1. After you have entered the track, if you stop your car for any reason other than a red flag or by one of the officials,
you will go to the back of the field. If you disagree with the line up and you stop, then you will be placed at the back of
the field for stopping under a yellow. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS!
2. We will be running all races under a time limit.
This amount will be at the discretion of the officials.
3. You will be black flagged for rough driving. This will
be determined by the officials. Arguing will result in disqualification for the evening. ALL CALLS ARE FINAL!
4. Anyone
charged with a yellow flag will go to the back of the field, whether you caused the yellow or not. If you stop to avoid an
accident, or stop forward motion, you will be put to the back of the field. If you cause an intentional yellow, you can be
subject to a placement of one lap down or removed from the race. Any car causing/involved in two yellows will be disqualified
for that race and sent to the pits.
5. If all cars have not crossed the finish line when a yellow is thrown, then
we will line up all cars according to the last completed, green lap scored (last completed lap). A completed lap is defined
as a lap in which all cars (with the exception of those involved in the yellow) cross the start/finish line and are scored
under green. 6. Remember, scorers' sheets are final. Do not pass under a yellow, or you will be put back. Please get into
single file and let the scorers line you up according to the last completed scored lap. If you don't, then you will go to
the back of the field. Watch the officials on the track, they will show you where you line up at. We do try to be fair to
all cars, even to the end of the field.
7. Any cars involved in a first lap mishap, will be given 2 laps under caution,
to make repairs and return to the track. Repairs must be done on pit lane.
8. No race cars will be allowed in the
infield unless directed there by an official, towed there by the tow truck, weighing purposes, or claiming purposes. Meaning,
you can not sit in the infield, for the remainder of the race, after being involved in a caution, then come out to take the
checkered flag. You will be scored as a "Did not finish" in the original lap you fell out in.
9. If you are involved
in a caution and need to do repairs in pit lane, you must be back on the track, ready to race before the green flag is thrown.
If you can not make it by the green flag, you must wait for the next caution, if any, before coming back onto the track. If
there is no other caution, you will be scored as a "Did not finish" in the original lap you went in on.
10. Red flag:
All cars must stop immediately where you are at. This avoids any fuel spills igniting. All repairs must be completed in the
pits, either on pit lane or in your individual pit area. Any car in the pits after the red flag goes to yellow, for proper
line up, will be done for that race and may not re-enter the track. No additional laps will be extended for any reason. NO
REFUELING ON THE TRACK SURFACE. Do not spray water on the track.
11. White flag: If the yellow is brought out after
the lead car takes the white flag, the race is over and the finish will be the last completed green lap scored. The winner
will be the car that crosses the white flag first and the car or cars causing or involved in the yellow will be scored last.
There will not be a checkered flag lap.
12. Speeding in the pits or riding on the cars in the pits or on the
track, will not be allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS!
13. Although we cannot control coolers in trailers that are coming
in the pit area, there will be no tolerance of any alcohol (including non-alcoholic beer - because it does have a percentage
of alcohol in it) being drank before the last checkered flag of the night. The driver and car that the person is associated
with will be disqualified, will lose all points and money earned for that night.
14. PIT AREAS NEED TO BE CLEANED
BEFORE LEAVING THE TRACK. There are plenty of trash cans, and having trashy pit areas are uncalled for. There will be
trash bags available at the pit shack for anyone that would like to get one. KEEP YOUR PIT AREA CLEAN!!
15. You are
here to put on a show for the crowd. This means being respectful to the officials, other racers, and fans. Please help to
run a smooth show. NOTE - we all make mistakes, as no-one is perfect.
16. Protests: All protests must be in writing
and must be handed to the official, by protesting driver, within five (5) minutes of finish of the race. Protesting driver
must be in the same race as the protested driver. Official deems the protest legitimate or not. The protest fee is $75.00
cash and must be included with the protest letter. Only protested item will be checked. If protested item is found legal,
protested car receives the $75.00. If the protested item is found illegal, then the car will be disqualified and the $75.00
will be returned to the protesting driver. Legal or not legal will be the only response given to the protesting driver. No
specifics will be given. IMCA claims/protests will be subject to IMCA rules.
17. We appreciate everybody coming to
HRP to race. If you have any complaints or suggestions, please feel free to let us know. Let's have a nice race season!!
Please
remember, everyone will make mistakes. Arguing, yelling, or fighting will not help matters for anyone. No-one is perfect.
Let's all learn from those mistakes and make the next racing event even better.
